Forge Foundation · for adult men

For the men
in the middle.
The missing layer.

A registered Australian charity in formation. Built for the layer of men that existing mental health infrastructure has missed — aware they're struggling, not in clinical crisis, with no tools and no community of other men doing the same work.

The mission

We don't fix men.
We help them forge themselves back.

Forge Foundation exists because Australian men's mental health infrastructure has a missing layer. Awareness campaigns reach the surface. Clinical care meets crisis. Between them, a generation of men — aware their lives aren't quite right, not in acute breakdown — has been left without structured tools or peer community.

The Foundation is built for that layer. The diagnostic surfaces what's actually going on. Ten structured programs address what's underneath. A community provides the witness adult men need from other adult men. A podcast does the cultural work of changing how Australian men engage with their own lives.

Charity status

In formation.

Forge Foundation is in the process of registering with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a Public Benevolent Institution.

Anticipated registration: late 2026. Founding governance documents complete. Trustee and Board appointments in progress.

How forge foundation works

Four systems.
One coherent intervention.

01 System

Diagnostic.

A 12-minute self-assessment across 9 domains of adult male life. Surfaces what's actually going on. Generates a personalised entry point into the program catalogue.

02 System

Programs.

Ten structured 8-12 week programs addressing specific domains — identity, body, inner game, relationships, work, money, routines, grief, fatherhood, meaning.

03 System

Community.

The peer witnessing layer. Small-group weekly calls of 6-10 men doing the same work. Reduces drop-out. Builds the male friendship most adult men are missing.

04 System

Podcast.

Forged — the free on-ramp. Long-form conversations doing the cultural work that turns the diagnostic-curious into program participants.

The diagnostic

12 minutes.
9 domains.
Honest answers.

The Forge Foundation Diagnostic surfaces where adult male life is actually working and where it isn't — across the nine domains research and clinical experience consistently identify as the substrate of male wellbeing.

You receive a personalised report. Domain-by-domain scores. A recommended starting program. No login required to take it. No payment required to receive results.

The program catalogue

Ten programs.
One for each layer of an adult life.

Each program runs 8-12 weeks. Each combines reading, video, structured workbook, daily practice, and (where requested) weekly small-group calls. Each is offered on a contribution basis — no man is excluded for financial reasons.

~5,150 paragraphs of structured program content. 100 weeks of work across the catalogue.

The community

The peer layer most adult men are missing.

Adult Australian men have fewer close friendships now than at any point in their lives. Many report no men they can speak to honestly about anything that matters. The isolation is not a peripheral issue — it is one of the central reasons the program work without community doesn't hold.

Every Forge Foundation program offers optional weekly small-group calls. Same group across the program. 6-10 men. Facilitated. Doing the same work alongside other men doing the same work. The witnessing is what carries men through the hardest weeks — and what builds the male friendship that holds beyond the program.

What the community provides
  • → Weekly small-group calls during programs
  • → Trained facilitators across all cohorts
  • → Alumni community for ongoing connection
  • → Annual graduate gatherings (planned)
  • → Regional and online cohorts
  • → Crisis support pathways via trained facilitators
The podcast

Forged.

The free on-ramp. Long-form conversations with men doing the work — recovery, fatherhood, grief, identity, meaning. Hosted by Keith Kovacs. Built to shift how Australian men engage with their own lives.

Forged is the cultural work that pre-loads the diagnostic and the programs. The conversations are honest, adult, and unafraid of the topics most podcasts tiptoe around.

Launching alongside Forge Foundation

The conversations Australian men need to be having, that most podcasts won't have.
